About twelve years ago, I became obsessed with one question:
Why do smart women keep recreating painful, toxic relationships?
I wasn't asking as a therapist.
I was asking because I couldn't figure out my own.
As a marriage and family therapist, I found myself in a toxic, abusive relationship that I couldn't seem to leave. That experience changed the course of my life.
It led me to study attachment, the nervous system, subconscious programming, emotional maturity, and the relational patterns that quietly shape every area of our lives.
Somewhere along the way, I realized something that became the foundation of everything I teach:
We're not just in relationships with people. We're in relationships with everything.
Our bodies.
Our money.
Our careers.
Our marriages.
Our businesses.
Our emotions.
When you learn how to change one relationship, you gain a framework you can apply to all of them.
That's what the School of Bitchery is all about.
