It’s Okay to say NO

Staying around something that makes you feel like sh*t until you’re able to tolerate it doesn’t yield any accolades. It just means you’ve gotten used to having a stress response. And it’s part of the old toughen up/just put up with it programming that is antiquated at best and abusive at worst.

It’s okay to use your judgement to say no to things you don’t prefer or you can’t/won’t tolerate. This is called discernment and it’s a really important skill to keep you out of codependency.

This is your reminder that it’s okay to walk away. And that it can be done in a gentle, compassionate way.

Getting into a whole brain state is the best place to start. Ready? Let’s play with some PSYCH-K 🤍
